Canon Pro Shutterbug Event IV

Canon held its 4th Pro Shutterbug Event today at the Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort in Singapore. There was an introduction of the Canon EOS System by Mohd Yazid, a Canon EOS 5D presentation by Jonathan Drake and a Canon EOS 1D Mark II N presentation by Lin Zuyi. As usual, there were special promotions and buys from Canon’s event partners and sale of lens workbooks and other EOS merchandise from Canon. The event was nicely catered by the Shangri-La’s F&B department.

Outdoor shooting opportunities included surfing babes and hunks, beach volleyball action, and a beach fashion runway. You better shoot fast cause the shooting opportunities are over in less than a hour! Kudos to Canon for putting on a first class event!

Note: If you are reading this blog from the USA or Europe and thinking of buying a Canon EOS 5D while in Singapore – think again. A dealer at the event was offering the body at S$6,600 (US$3,892). Prices are still wacky here and no one quite knows why!
