Google Blog Search
I noticed that Google bots were crawling all over this blog for the last couple of weeks. Hmmm. Then, Google announced this week that they were releasing a beta version of a weblog search service. You can try right now at blogsearch.google.com. It’s done in classic Google style – the interface is simple, a search box and a just a couple of buttons, and the search results are lightning fast. There are advanced search features such as searches based on date ranges, language, authors, and blog titles. Also, you can set up a RSS/XML feed based on your blog-search criteria.
I tried a basic keyword search [singapore, photography, robert] and it finds this blog rather quickly. Other searches such as [singapore, photography] are less effective but still find this blog albeit not at the top of the results – yet!
