Bibble Pro 4.9 Just Released
Bibble Labs Inc. just announced the availability of Bibble Pro and Bibble Lite upgrades to v4.9. The upgrades are free for existing Bibble 4 license holders and represent the fourth upgrade of the ‘4-series’ raw conversion software in 2006. A number of new cameras (see change log) have been added including the Canon 400D Rebel XTi and Nikon D80.
This version adds clone/spot healing tool, sensor defect correction (to remove ‘hot’ or ’stuck’ pixels), and 5-star image rating. According to Bibble, “Digital photographers have been asking for a single tool to perform all their image adjustments - not several tools for specific jobs. Adding Noise Ninja technology and one-touch image optimization with Perfectly Clear in releases 4.6 and 4.7 went a long way to building a single tool for all digital darkroom needs; and with the Cloning & Healing tool in 4.9, Bibble Pro and Bibble Lite now offer the most complete and self contained workflow“.
Bibble also formally announced the development of Bibble 5.0. which they say, “will improve upon all aspects of the program, including workflow, speed, and image quality as well as adding support for 64-bit operating systems“.
