Canon EOS 30D in Stock at Amazon.com
Amazon is finally showing that the Canon EOS 30D is in stock (body-only or kit). They are showing prices of US$1,399 US$1,325 for the body and US$1,499 US$1,389 with the kit lens (EF-S 18-55mm). They claim to be able to ship in 1-2 business days.
Interestingly, it is almost exactly one month since the first shipments reached Australia! U.S.A. prices are a bit higher than in Singapore and much higher than in Hong Kong. I expect the prices will come down once the back orders are fullfilled (after all, they took pre-orders at those prices). Let’s hope that we can get 3rd party raw converter software updates soon!
The price is changing so fast that I can’t keep up. Well, you know where to look!
