Most Popular Cameras on Flickr
Flickr recently added a Camera Finder page. Flickr determines the most popular cameras based on data automatically collected from EXIF tags(1). A quick look at the graphs reveals very some interesting facts. The top dSLR spot goes to the Canon Digital Rebel XT (also known as EOS 350D, EOS Kiss N) with 8,110,714 photos posted. And, there are about 43,000 more Digital Rebel XT photos added daily!
Second on the dSLR list is the Nikon D70 with 4,763,149 photos posted. A close third is the Canon EOS Digital Rebel (also known as EOS 300D, EOS Kiss) with 4,596,601 photos posted. Not at all shabby is the Canon EOS 20D with 4,321,256 photos on Flickr.
In the point and shoot category, the top spot goes to the Canon SD400 (also known as Digital IXUS 50, IXY Digital 55) with 3,338,205 photos on Flickr. For camera phones, the Sony-Ericsson K750i leads with 712,710 photos posted.

(1)Flickr estimates that EXIF data are available in about 2/3rds of the camera photos. Camera phone photos do not have EXIF tags therefore are under-represented.
