Comics for Photographers

What the Duck!Well, it was only a matter of time. Now, photographers have their own comic strip. A little humor will go a long way in this overly serious obsession we call photography! Drawn by Aaron Johnson who claims to be 40% photographer, 60% Photoshopper, What the Duck originated as a blog filler for a vacationing blogger. Talk about output! The comic strip was started in July 2006 and now there are 63 strips in the archive. (Click on thumbnail.)

Low-resolution comic strips are free for use in blogs, forums, and newsletters. Comics can be purchased as royalty-free, high resolution images for $5 a strip (same price as an iStockphoto image).

Click on the thumbnail above for a bit of humor about an uncomfortable situation most photographers have experienced at least once in their careers. I look forward to further adventures of the picture taking ducks!
