Jobo photoGPS – Finally at Retailers

Jobo photoGPSFirst announced at PMA 2007, the Jobo photoGPS Geo-Imaging accessory is just now appearing at retailers. OK, a year and half late (it was scheduled for summer 2007) but well-worth the wait. The sleek-looking device attaches to your camera’s hot shoe and captures geo-data on site for each photo.

Matching Software coordinates the geo-data and your photos. In addition to the longitude and latitude, the address (i.e. country, city, street and closest point of interest) is also captured in the image file. This enables you to search for specific places, streets or POI without having to tag each picture individually. Software is also included to organize, find and sort your photos.
