Photojojo Spy Lens for SLRs

Photojojo Spy LensPhotojojo’s Spy Lens is designed to solve the ‘Heisenberg Uncertainly Principal’ of photography. That is, the moment you point your camera at someone – the shot is no longer ‘candid’.

The Spy Lens fits on the end of your SLR’s zoom lens via the filter threads. It has a cut-out on the side and a precision mirror assembly inside. Therefore, you can shoot left, right, up, or down (it swivels 360 degrees), all while appearing to be shooting straight ahead.

The Photojojo Spy Lens costs about US$55.00 and can be ordered directly from Photojojo’s Store. So far anyway, it’s not available at other online retailers. Good news – they ship internationally. You can also visit the popular Photojojo Facebook Page. Keep in mind that the Photojojo Spy Lens does not work with fish-eye or wide-angle lenses.

  1. Just purchased this but I feel disoriented looking through the lens and trying to point it at my subject :p

I also have all kinds of problems with the automatic focus so perhaps I’ll just have to get used to turn it off.
