BlackRapid R-Strap – A Better Way to Carry your Camera

BlackRapid R-StrapThe BlackRapid R-Strap is the most innovative camera strap on the market today. The R-Strap is worn diagonally across the torso from shoulder to hip and is adjustable to fit most photographers. The pad has a mesh underside for comfort and breathability.

With the camera at your hip or behind your back, you can more easily maneuver through a crowd. With both hands free, you easily carry a tripod or other gear. Then, when you’re ready to take a shot, the camera quickly glides up the strap into a shooting position. Watch the video below to see a demo of the R-Strap.

Different R-Straps

RS-1: Black fabric, slim design, no storage pockets.
RS-2: Black fabric, slim design, has a spot for your ID or business cards, a cell phone/radio holder, a spare-battery pocket, and room for two CF cards.
RS-3: Black fabric, slim design, front external pocket is good for smaller cell phones (not compatible with iPhones or PDAs).
RS-4: Black fabric, front zippered pocket for storing small things like memory cards or business cards.

Sizing

The R-Straps are very adjustable. They measure 60″ (30″ from top of left shoulder to right hip). There is a sweet spot adjustment so when adjusting the R-Strap slide the camera up by pushing out slightly.

What you get

All of the R-Straps come with all of the hardware you need to get going. This includes the ConnectR-1 and the FastenR-1. You can purchase additional FastenRs if you want to quickly switch the R-Strap between multiple cameras.

Where to get it

You can order R-Straps directly from BlackRapid. They ship internationally. Or, check their dealer list for a dealer near you.
