Canon has announced the newest addition to its PowerShot G-Series digital cameras - the PowerShot G10. Compared to the PowerShot G9, the PowerShot G10 upgrades include a sensor upgrade from 12MP to 15MP as well as Canon’s DIGIC 4 image processor, 28mm optical image stabilized zoom lens and RAW mode.

Pre-Photokina 2008 Canon has announced the new PowerShot A2000 IS to replace the popular PowerShot A720 IS model.
Slimmer than the A720 IS, the A2000 IS has a 10MP sensor, advanced noise reduction, faster buffering speeds, face detection and MMCplus, HC MMCplus card compatibility. Other than those features, not much else is new.

Canon Japan has just released an updated firmware revision for the EOS 450D / REBEL XSi.
Version 1.0.9 firmware is for cameras with firmware up to Version 1.0.4. If your camera’s firmware is already Version 1.0.9, it is not necessary to update it.
